Troopers make arrest in deadly Gibsonville hit and run

GREENSBORO, N.C. — NC Troopers said they arrested Ricky Lynn Summers of Whitsett in connection with a deadly hit and run that occurred on September 8th. Investigators said Andrew Jenkins was walking east on US-70 when Summers' truck hit him. Jenkins died on the scene.

Summers was given a $25,000 bond and he will be back in court on October 17th.
