NEW YORK (STORYFUL) -- ‘Trump 2020’ flags were seen waving during a ticker tape parade celebrating the US Women’s National Team World Cup victory in New York on July 10th.

The US team co-captain Megan Rapinoe and President Donald Trump were embroiled in a public war of words after Rapinoe said she would not go to the White House if invited. Trump responded in a Twitter thread by touting his achievements and saying, “Megan should WIN first before she TALKS!”

In addition to winning the World Cup as part of the US team, Rapinoe won the Golden Boot for top scoring and the Golden Ball for best player, according to FIFA.

This footage was filmed as the team celebrated their homecoming in New York on Wednesday.
